This stops wood and looks good, as it should.

Description

PDF

This is a printable stop that fits in standard 0.75" T-track and can be used to set the cut distance on a variety of crosscut sleds. It uses two embedded magnets to raise and lower the stops, which allows you to keep this in the same position even if you are not actively using it. The assembly is held in place on the T-track with two 1/4-20 screws that thread through 2x embedded nuts.

I prefer wood with embedded magnets for the vertical stops, it feels robust and they don't take long to make. These could be printed as well, but I do not currently have a model for them - let me know if you make one!
