No mess, vertical incense stick holder

  • one piece or modular (picture is the modular)
  • open or closed top (oil buildup over time on the closed top versions)
  • modular version can be printed on even the smallest printers
  • traps the ash in the base section for easy cleanup
  • no supports needed

Standard size incense sticks need 4 segments total to fit the enclosed top section

I printed mine in CF-ABS for the matte appearance but any other filament should work. If you plan on using PLA, I would recommend one of the following:

  • use either of the one piece designs (they're taller)
  • use the open top segment (if using only 4 total)
  • add additional segments

As you can see in the picture, oils build up over time on the top section when using the enclosed versions, hence the open top variants. I use this frequently and it took a while to be noticeable. With the enclosed versions, the smoke is diffused, but with the open version, it is an undisturbed column.

I have knocked this over a number of times and unless the base comes out, it keeps the ash in pretty well.

The segments do not need to be glued together as the fit between the segments is snug (your results may vary)
