St. Bartholomäus-Kirche in Ahlen (Westfalen)

Anlässlich einer größeren Renovierung des Innenraums der Kirche wurde diese vermessen und dabei ein 3D-Modell erstellt, das aber nur in Bezug auf den Innenraum präzis war. Einige grobe Fehler, insbesondere im Bereich des Sakristei-Anbaus im Südosten, wurden mit Hilfe von Fotos per CAD korrigiert. Auch die Abstufungen der Strebepfeiler und der umlaufende Sims wurden von Hand gestaltet. Der Turm wurde ab der ersten Etage aus Bauzeichnungen per CAD ergänzt. Die vereinfachte Form der Fenster (parabelförmig statt Spitzbögen) wurde beibehalten.

Das so entstandene Modell wurde mit dem Programm “CUR3D professional” Version 3.0.2.0 druckbar gemacht. 

Eine erste Version ohne Turm wurde zur Veranschaulichung des Kirchen-Innenraums mit abnehmbarem Dach gedruckt.  

Für das aktuelle Modell wurde 1:125 als Maßstab für den Druck gewählt, damit das Modell gerade noch auf einer H0-Modelleisenbahn eingesetzt werden kann. 

Bei Bedarf kann ich Fotos zur Verfügung stellen, wenn jemand das Modell farbig gestalten möchte.

On the occasion of a major renovation of the interior of the church, it was measured and a 3D model was created, but this was only accurate with regard to the interior. Some gross errors, particularly in the area of the sacristy extension in the south-east, were corrected with the help of photos using CAD. The gradations of the buttresses and the surrounding cornice were also designed by hand. The tower was completed from the first floor onwards using CAD drawings. The simplified shape of the windows (parabolic instead of pointed arches) was retained.

The resulting model was made printable using the ‘CUR3D professional’ programme version 3.0.2.0.

A first version without the tower was printed with a removable roof to illustrate the interior of the church.  

For the current model, 1:125 was chosen as the scale for printing so that the model can still be used on an H0 model railway.
