LED Strip Diffractor

I wanted to change the color of the lighting on my klp1 to match my color scheme so I made this.

This is 150mm x 14mm x 25mm and designed to work with 10mm wide RGB LED strips. 

To wire them I used 2 wired in parallel. 2 12v LEDs in parallel will work on a 24v power supply like most 3d printers use. The positive lead connects to +12v input and the ground connects to the color, or colors you want. 

In this case, green is easy but you can get any combo of the basic colors. The full range is not available here without a controller. That is overkill in my case though.

I attached it with some globs of hot glue and used the diffusion sheets from the original. It is not perfect but its good enough for me.
