This is a simple accessory that should work with any Rise Garden model, so long as they use the square cups. This fits neatly within the top of the cup, and then the scallion fits within the cup. This cup is side to fit most scallions, and hold the base right at the surface of the water when the garden is filled all the way (tested on the personal model, can't vouch for the larger models - but I also would expect the water levels between them to be pretty consistent).
Supports are not necessary so long as your printer is capable of printing bridges ~10mm in length.
If you decide that you want it deeper, or more shallow, I suggest you adjust the value of the “cup bottom” construction offset plane:![]()
This plane is just offset from the bottom surface of the top plate. Adjusting it doesn't break anything in my experience, but I have also only done a few millimeters at a time.
Adjusting the size of the hexagonal cutout might be possible, but I haven't tried it, and I would bet that something would break, since all the hexagons are measured from the central origin (and have no references to one another, aside from a few inter-plane projections)
I do not own any of the trade marks associate with Rise Gardens. This is a community accessory provided without warranty or any claims of IP. I just wanted a way to re-grow my scallions in my Rise Garden. If they see this and want to release their own version, they can go ahead and use the CAD I've provided (or so can anyone else, for that matter)
