Print the main holder and ceiling mount. Secure ceiling mount with screws / tape / glue (?) wherever you want it. Above prints in Overture Easy PLA.

To adjust the model, use FreeCAD (designed on version 0.21.1). Edit your parameters in the settings spread-sheet to give you the model that you want. Both the ceiling mount and the holder will adjust automatically to configured settings. Brief description of each setting:

  • Packet Width:
    • The width of the packet at the opening
  • Packet Length:
    • The other long dimension of your packets. How “deep” your packet is
  • Packet Thickness:
    • The thickness of your packets
  • Number of Bags:
    • The number of bags that you want to store.
  • Wall Thickness:
    • How thick each of the walls are.
  • Wiggle Room:
    • Extra room added around the packet size ( except thickness) to allow for wiggle.
  • Opening Count:
    • The number of packets high that the opening is.

You can easily edit the sketch in the mount part to fit your hardware or change the hole pattern. The mount part will automatically adjust to fit counter sinks for your screw heads.

I was inspired by SDProduct's tea dispenser. When I tried to make that dispenser, it didn't fit my tea-bags. I then put some alcohol wipe packets in it (which were much too small) and then decided to make a parametric version so that it could always fit whatever packet I might want to hold and dispense. So I made this in FreeCAD.
