Don't know if I was right but because of the right panier locker (Wedge 2nd gen) being directed to the front, I was affraid it could hurt my leg during a crash.
Everything is possible during a crash but know the metal sheet is hidden in the larger cap, I feel safier.
PETG is fine, no support
A little bit hard to put in place, but once done it's ok.
