Diamond Sharpening Plate Base / Holder

This is a base for holding standard thin diamond sharpening plates in a position that is comfortable for sharpening. It holds 4 plates and has tolerances fine tuned to ensure a good hold and enough clearance for the top plate to stick out just the right amount. The lid is a friction fit and designed for easy storage of your sharpening plates.

I recommend adding some silicone feet/bumpers (5 or more) or hot glue to the base to ensure it doesn't slide on your work surface. Once the stones are in, they also provide weight to the entire assembly, add rigidity and reduce the risk of slipping. 

This print is designed to use minimum filament (~45g with my slicer settings) and the files are provided in their correct orientation ready for printing.
