A simple mount to directly replace the original USB-port of the CMStorm Quickfire Rapid-i with a USB-C one.
The two parts and the USB-Breakout-Board are simply glued together with superglue, I additionally secured the cables with some hot glue.
The fifth pin on the connector is used for the cable-shielding on the original setup. For me, everything works fine without it, so I removed the fifth cable from the PH-connector.
The pinout of the original cable follows the standard USB color-code:
Just wire the replacement accordingly. I rearranged the cables in my pictures, please be careful!
For printing, I strongly recommend a small nozzle (e.g. 0.2mm).
