The GEN2 Decor Series is the next evolution in the most versatile 3D printed drawer system, The GEN2 Modular Storage System. You can now easily swap faceplate and handles to fit the mood of the room you want. Being able to easily customize colors, patterns, or adding custom text.
These new GEN2 Part Drawers feature 3D printable and swappable labels for each storage section. My goal was to make a label that was fairly easy to install, but would also snap in place, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Decide how you would like to use your GEN2 storage. Keep in mind that the drawers are modular and can be easily swapped between under table and table top locations. All drawers are available for mounting under the table using rails, but you can also place them on top of any surface with table top kits.

• Filament - Black PETG (My go to for the drawer bodies)
• Screwdriver
• Countersunk woodscrews: (Metric: 4x25mm to 4x16mm) or (SAE: #6 or #8 up to 1" long)
• Drill bit that is smaller diameter than the wood screws
• Pen, Marker, or Scratch Awl (for installing under tables)
• Magnets (Optional): 10x5x2mm or 10x2mm
• M3 nuts and screws: M3x6 - M3x10- I prefer this kit

• 3D Print labels - The label is either available in in STL format or setup as a template in PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio.
PrusaSlicer - Add text the top surface by right clicking the label in the list on the right (make sure your in Advanced mode) Select “Add part > Text”
The emboss tool will show up on the left side of your screen where you can edit your text settings
MMU Printers: Change the color for your text and print
Single Color Printers: Slice the label model, on the layer slider that appears vertically on the screen, drag it down until you find the layer where the text begans printing, click the “+” to add a color change. This will allow you to swap filament colors and print the text in a different color.
Bambu Studio - With your label part select, select the Text tool at the top of your screen

Single Color Printers: Slice the label model, on the layer slider that appears vertically on the screen, drag it down until you find the layer where the text begins printing, right-click the “+” to add a pause. This will allow you to swap filament colors and print the text in a different color.
