Needed a stand to hold sunglasses. Didn't see one I like so I made one I did.

There's not a lot to this one. I was looking around for a nice display stand for my daughter to stack her sunglasses. For reasons I will not go into here, one set could not be folded anymore, so it needed to be stacked in “open.” I honestly didn't look that long, but I also didn't see a lot I liked. So here we are.

For a clean design, there is the option to bond it and I have included parts without the visible screw holes. If you look at the rest of my profile, you will understand why I have a number of 4-40 flathead machine screws aroundchoseassemblesover-builtI will (https://www.mcmaster.com/90273A108/). I choose to use these, especially if I wanted to modify or change color.

I like the way this looks, it assemblies easily, built pretty robustly - I keep using the term “brick shithouse” so maybe that means it is over-biult. Will let you decide.

Like pretty much everything I do, this is a work in progress. Happy to hear suggestions or ideas.

Disclamer: If this drops your fancy sunglasses, it is on you.
