These are math blocks used in basic kindergarden/grade 1 math. The 10 block is 10 units high, 9 is 9 units high...etc. the blocks can be stacked to physically do simple math. For example, 9 stacked on top of 1 is the same height at 10. So 9+1=10. There are also dots and words on each block that correspond with the number. the dots are all on the bottom of the numbers. For example, the 10 has "ten" written on it as well as 10 dots.
I suggest adding a colour change close to the back so that it the proper direction of the number is clear. You can see this with the number 7 in the photo. I would also print 2 sets so that you can explore a little more creatively and so that you have 2 number 5's to equal 10.
