I recently purchased a Meross (MSG100) smart garage door opener and realized after I started the installation that my garage door chain track doesn't have any type of cover to mount the door sensor cable to.
The thought for this is to suspend the sensor cable from the garage door wall to the garage door opener, sort of like a powerline going from pole to pole. Probably not the best solution but it will work for now until I can get something else thought up and designed.
I designed two separate parts for this solution. There is a Cable Suspension Mount and a Cable Suspension Block. Both of which the Meross door sensor cable will route through in order to keep the cable from moving. Then you secure the cable in place with the back plate on each part so the cable doesn't pop out and fall.
The holes on the back of these parts are 2mm and just used random screws I had laying around to secure those parts together.
You can use something like drywall screws to secure the mounts to the supporting material.
