Hi and thank you for all your time you have put in to this model i have not yet received my node but i will certainly be installing it in to your designed model also i have ordered the magnets and after looking at the left coments i then looked at the RF transparency of filaments as i have pasted below.

No, standard ASA filament does not attenuate RF signals. According to technical guides for ham radio and 3D printing, ASA is considered RF transparent, meaning it allows radio frequency signals to pass through with minimal interference. RF Transparency: All common non-filled filaments, including ASA, PETG, ABS, PLA, and Nylon, are generally RF transparent. Glass Fiber Exception: ASA reinforced with glass fiber (ASA-GF) remains RF transparent because glass is non-conductive. This property is why fiberglass is commonly used in commercial antenna radomes.Carbon Fiber Warning: Avoid ASA reinforced with carbon fiber (ASA-CF), as carbon is conductive and will attenuate (block or weaken) RF signals. Pigment Caution: While the base polymer is transparent, certain black pigments (like iron oxide/magnetite) can cause attenuation. Ensure the specific ASA filament is not loaded with conductive pigments if RF transparency is critical. (edited)
