SCARCHOMP v1

This is a muzzle shroud to protect your SCAR barrel that uniquely attaches without ever touching it. Unlike other muzzle shrouds, it clamps to the aluminum barrel behind your SCAR so that you can equip it without ever having to remove your muzzle device since that would mess up your zero. Additionally unlike any other conventional shroud, the non-contact design does not apply any force on your SCAR, so any dent or collision damage is absorbed by the SCARCHOMP instead, like a cage. That should relieve any accident forces from ever touching your SCAR or interfering with your zero.

How to use:

It uses a print-in-place hinge to open up and bite around your muzzle and is secured using two press clips. You can remove the clips by peeling it off from the back with your thumb. Additionally, there is a slot on the front to insert a flathead screwdriver to pry it should be back of the SCARCHOMP be inaccessible with thumbs. 

Compatibility:  

This was purpose built to house the Resin RIPPCAR but is fully compatible with GFZ BCARs. Fits anything 22mm in diameter.  Can also fit anything 28 mm diameter that's shorter than 80mm.
