Laptop HDD Hot Swap Cage

This is a 4-Bay SATA Hard Drive cage for Hot Swap Use.

The Cage will take up to a 12.5mm Laptop Hard Drive or Solid State Drive. While still leaving room for airflow over the top of the drive.

Venting allows for reduced plastic, as well as fan mounting in Front or on the Sides.

The STL and the Sketchup Files are included for Customization and Remixing.

There is a Bevel in the back for Slanted Molex SATA connectors to be hot Glued in.

Recommend to seat a drive in the connector, and then use hot glue to fix the SATA connector into place.

The drive is then a Hot Swap Drive (If supported), lined up perfectly with the connector(s).

You may want to Make some Tabs to affix to the HDD for the Front of the drive, in order to have something to grab onto for pulling drives out.

The drives stick out 15mm from the front of the cage, and this exposes the first set of Screw Holes on the end of the drive for mounting a handle to.

Glue them together for unlimited SATA Storage Upgrades!
