Indesit freezer door locking mechanism

The other day a small piece of plastic broke in the Indesit freezer. Due to this the internal door did not stay shut, which made the closing of external door a real hassle.

Fortunately I could use one of the pieces as a template to model it with Fusion360.

PLA is great for a several purposes, but don not even try print this with it. Been there, done that, see the red part on the images. PETG is perfect for this.

For maximal strength, print it upright with supports.

With this project, I have earned a bonus point from my mother in law.
