🇳🇿 Nau mai, haere mai ki Aotearoa New Zealand!
Welcome to Aotearoa New Zealand!

The ChristChurch Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in the city of Christchurch, in the South Island of New Zealand. It was built between 1864 and 1904 by the Association of Canterbury, who modeled the city, cathedral and university after Oxford's.

Unfortunately, it has been damaged by earthquakes several times through its existence, the worst and most recent being in 2011, which destroyed the tower and rendered the building dangerous. After many years of cleanup and debate, it is finally being restored. Plans for reconstruction include new facilities and a renovated Cathedral Square (from Wikipedia).

This model was made by Dany Sánchez, who used both photos from before the damage and public renderings of the new plans.
