Description

PDF

A handle for fitness/workout rubber bands with a width of ~30 mm or less, to reduce pain and strain on your hand during certain training exercises.

The handle has been designed for the Deuserband by deuser sports, but it should work just as well with similar workout bands. When attaching the handle to the band, simply pull on the band on both sides to make it snap into the recess; then it will stay attached even when releasing the band. That is, unless your band is smaller in width - consider scaling the handle accordingly in this case.

Printing instructions

Make sure to use material with good layer adhesion. I used PETG with a slightly increased nozzle temperature. Since the handle has to withstand physical stress, make sure to use at least 3 wall lines and a strong infill - I used 20% Honeycomb infill.

There are two model versions available:

  • The “Complete” version can be printed in one go, but some manually placed supports are recommended to prevent it from tipping over during print.
  • The “Half” version is printed in two halves and assembled afterwards using the provided pins (four pins required for assembly). I printed using a textured sheet and assembled the grip using 30-minute epoxy resin. Ideally, the pins should be printed with 100% infill.
