Model of non-rotating Stargate simplified for this scale and separated chevrons.
Stargate - Diameter 203 mm
- It contains two parts which I recommend glue together with superglue. You can also use three dowels for better aligning (adjust dowel size if needed - I use metal dowels)
- I recommend print with fine layer height (0,12 mm - maybe less in top parts), Pla is recommend also (fine details of relieves).
- Highly recommend to painted and to do some weathering.
- I printed chevrons from transparent filament and painted with translucent color ("blinker" orange if that term exist's).
Control room stand
The model is one day work so it is not as detailed as it could be, but it is probably enough for me. I didn't do any extensive research about control room and pictures of the stand vary a lot. So I made some eyeballing and I hope that is enough precise.
- You need to figure it out which orientation on plate will be the best for each part (some of them need brim (If I remember correctly you don't need to use supports).
- Best to glue it together with superglue
- In names there are number of printed parts in square brackets - correct position in model you need to figure it out from photos.
- Grates (and steps for small stairs) - upper and lower - disable upper and lower layers; density was best 30% - fill angle 0°

- Railing - put on back and use brim
- Lights - use transparent filament (i didn't have it)
- Shoes of middle floor - if you want to be able to remove Stargate easily from stand - Glue outside shoes (4x) to the top of lower grate and inside shoes to the square tubes (4x)

- If anyone wants to model the front part od ramp and side holders you are welcome - please send message - but with front ramp you need to have quite long showcase
