3DBeaver is a 3D model Navy tug bb19 “the boomin beaver” specifically designed for testing and benchmarking 3D printers. It is a small replica navy tug with bridges, stringing test, intricate details and overhangs ranging from 22.5 degrees to 40 degrees that you can download for free, make and share.

The fastest i have printed this is 39mins with x1c on standard 0.2mm profile.

It has been designed for 0.4mm nozzles and 0.25mm (maximum detail)  but will print with 0.6mm.

 

05/02/2025 -  added a larger 3DBeaver Named “MM calibration 3dbeaver.stl”

This model has been enlarged with the aim to enable caliper measurement of a few areas to aid in calibration of x,y,z printer axis.

 

The measurements listed below are only applicable to the file labelled “MM calibration 3dbeaver.stl”
