This model seems popular so I'll keep it free for the base version and add future themed versions to be club only!
Who doesn't like the classic games? I know I do! If you enjoy games such as Connect 4, chess, backgammon, and/or cribbage; you are in the right place! This box is designed with as many games as I could think of utilizing space efficiently as possible while keeping it compact.
There are versions for both single nozzle printers and mmu/ams like printers.
Note - as I wrote this I realized I misspelled “dominoes” originally. I have corrected it in the files that matter. This really only effected the storage box for them. So, yes, the picture above with “Dominos” has been corrected.

What this box has:
- Connect 4
- Chess
- Checkers
- Backgammon
- Tic-tac-toe
- Dominoes
- Cribbage
- Two versions of peg solitaire
- Container for a deck of cards
- 4x Domino/card holders
- Container for mini dice and pegs (dice not included, see below for dice I used)
- Two versions of the sliding top (You can either have the Checker board pattern or the Backgammon side be what shows up on top when you put it on)
You can also add these to increase the number of games:
- Laminated quarter page YAHTZEE! sheets, Dots grid, paper battleship, and mini dry erase markers for additional games.
Printing instructions
I recommend printing everything at 0.2mm layer height with 3 walls.
You'll want to print 3 sets of 13 pegs to have enough for the big peg solitaire.
You need 2 sets of the C4 pieces to get you to 42 total.
Turning single color items into multicolor:
- C4/chess/checker pieces
- Add a color change at 0.6mm & 2.4mm.
- Dominoes
- Add a color change at 0.6mm.
- Storage boxes with text
- Add a color change at 0.6mm.
- Main box colored outline on holes
- This one requires you to either add a color change via gcode before infill OR just manually change once it finishes perimeters before it moves onto infill.
- Sliding top
- Add a color change at 0.6mm & 2.4mm. Best results with backgammon side face down towards the build plate.
Assembly instructions
The only piece that requires a tad of glue is the connect 4 board. The two halves have dovetails to help align properly. I'd recommend passing a piece through each slot before glue dries so you know it's in all of the way.
To be sure everything fits where it should:
- Dominoes stack in 4 stacks with the remaining 4 on their side.
- Connect 4 pieces stack into 7 even stacks.
- Backgammon pieces will all fit in the small hole if stacked neatly. I try to get 4 stacks then use empty space for the rest.
- Pegs fit nicely with 5 6mm sized dice in the dice roller box.
- Card box fits all of the cards I have tried without the box they came with. If needed you can always adjust the width to fit your needs. Wouldn't recommend scaling it evenly though as it's designed to fit under the connect 4 board when stored away.
- Middle of main box on the inside has a slot on each side to slide the connect 4 board down over.
For storage:
- Main box has an additional support built in to hold the connect 4 board in place. The top corners of the board should match the corners of the box for placement.
- The dominoes and connect 4 piece containers fit side by side perfectly on the top left of the box. Dominoes container has a rounded corner to line up with the main box.
- The deck of cards box fits right of those two boxes. These hold each other in place with the two small lips on the inside of the box.
- The dice/peg container lays flat on the bottom left.
- The 4 card/domino holders fit lengthwise next to the dice container. You can fit 3 right by each other with one facing down on top. If oriented correctly, the holders should hold the dice box in place.
- Lid slides and has a small indent to keep it in place enough for storage.
