Earth's Seasons Model

This set allows students to demonstrate the seasons by changing the angle of sunlight striking Earth's surface.  It includes 5 lines; the Equator, the Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn, the Arctic Circle, and Antarctic Circle.

The Earth was made using Gemini AI (prompt: create a black silhouette of Earth), converted to a PNG and SVG to give different layer heights for the color.

I printed in 0.2 mm layer heights.

Layers 1-7 Blue
Layers 8-11 Green 
Layers 12-14 White 
Layers 15 Yellow 

The night / shade piece slides over top of the Earth, and the Earth can simply be rotated so the desired seasonal position is achieved.
