Will require super glue. Sanding recommended but not required (emery boards work great)
Material: PLA
Layer height: 0.15mm
Nozzle size: 0.4
Bed size requirements: 250x210x220
Part specific specification
Guard:
Support - Organic/Tree supports (Rotate the guard to best fit your print bed before slicing)
Infill - 20%
Blade+Ricasso:
Print with brim
Can be printed stacked together, however would recommend printing separately and slotting together for a better finish.
Assembly steps (read carefully)
Step One: Test fit the grip into the guard, there should be enough flex in the guard to allow it to sit in snug, the thin end should be towards the bottom of the sword. Once happy remove it and apply glue to the guard where the grip will sit then reinsert it.
Step Two: Test fit the ricasso into the top of the guard and once happy glue it in place.
Step Three: test fit the pommel into the bottom of the sword and once happy glue it in place. please wait for all the glue to set fully at this point.
Step Four: Stack the blade piece together in size order, the tip is tricky but can be inserted through the tip of the next size up. would recommend lightly sanding the inside of each section at the tip and the outside of each section at the base for a smoother action)
Step Five: Push the blade stack into the tip of the ricasso, i found it easiest to extend the blade first as this gave the widest section a little more flex to slot in.
Step Six: Enjoy!!
