I designed this to allow the mounting of the O4 camera into the Hyperlite Freerange Switch frame. In DJI's infinite wisdom, they decided to change the mounting holes of the O4 cameras to a strange and dubiously useful 16mm pattern that is incompatible with most FPV frames on the market.

This plate replaces the aluminum plates included with new printed ones to allow the hole spacing of the O4 camera. Each plate needs 2x 30mm standoffs inserted into the bottom with 1x 20mm standoff connecting the two plates. This should keep most of the rigidity and protection offered by the stock aluminum cage. I also added an antenna mount that will fit on the back of the frame with a 25mm spacing.

BOM:

4x 30mm M3 standoffs

1x 20mm M3 standoff

2x M3x6mm screws (longer is ok)

1x Side plate printed normally

1x Side plate printed mirrored

Instructions:

  • Insert 1x 30mm standoff in each 5mm hole on both side plates and seat fully.
  • Connect both side plates with front 20mm standoff
  • Install new cage on to lower plate using stock screws. Loctite on bottom screws is recommended.
  • Install camera into cage, set at desired angle.
  • Install top plate with stock screws. Loctite is recommended.
