I used a 9mm spacer between the UPS and the Raspberry Pi.
There are two pieces of regular round spacers between the display and the Raspberry Pi to create some space between them. I stuck kapton tape on the bottom of the display to prevent a short circuit. The pins on the board are about 5mm long.
All ports are accessible. It closes by pressing the cover from the side where the UPS switch is. The cover should fit tightly to hold it in place. There are also holes on the side of the pins for better cooling.
