Protective cases for 5mL injection vials

Important: Print horizontally or the columns will snap when inserting the vial!

These are thin protective covers or cases designed for 5mL glass estradiol valerate injection vials manufactured by American Regent and Xiromed. They are designed to be printed with PLA (PETG should also work) and help lower the risk of the vials shattering in the case of a drop or impact.

Print settings:

• It is recommended to print the vials on their side in mid-air (5-10 mm gap between the model and build plate), with the rear central spine facing down. 
• Make sure supports are enabled. 
• 0.08 mm and 0.2 mm layer heights were tested on a Bambu P1S and should work. 
• The size of the model may need to be slightly scaled in the slicer to account for manufacturer tolerances of the vials.
