Modular 10"/10 inch Rack

For assembly, the rack uses standard button-head M6x12mm bolts and M6 Square Nuts. See the CAD picture for assembly configuration. This rack relies on the 10" rack components for holding the 2 sides together. To connect rack uprights to other parts, use the provided gusset plates.

The rack is designed in a way that allows you to scale the rack to any size you need with modular rails of varying length. You can extend the rack as high as you want (might get unstable) by using the connecting gusset plates.

Project Updates

• 3/24/2025 - Added a taller foot option
  • I needed to get a fan on the bottom of my rack to cool some hard drives so the taller foot was needed to accommodate.
• 2/26/2025 - Parametric Rack Upright v2
  • The original parametric rack upright Fusion 360 file left a lot to be desired. It took a lot of manual editing even after adjusting the required parameter. I have redone the file and uploaded a v2 of the file that correctly handles the parameter for any # of Us > 2. With it, I have also uploaded 2U and 3U rack uprights as requested by 
    @zmarkella_2835288.

• 2/7/2025 - New Parts!
  • Added a Top Handle model that does not require supports to print. You can print 2 of these, they do NOT need to be mirrored. Just rotate 180 degrees when you install to keep it symmetric. Thanks @Slapping_Sec_2920759 for the suggestion!
  • Added a 4U Rack Upright with built-in nut slots to keep the square nuts held in place. I have not tested this myself yet (requires me to rebuild by whole rack 😅) but I will update if needed. Post a comment if there are any issues.

• The GL.iNet mount requires zip-ties or velcro straps to hold it in place. I have the AX-1300 but other similar models should fit.  
  
   

The DGS108 mount was modified to print in one piece, the Elitedesk mount was modified for 10" racks and a velcro strap for a portable SSD was added. The blanks were used to make single part mounts for every part.
