North American XB-70 Valkyrie Aircraft Kit Card with Compliant Folding Wingtips

Print your own 1:516 scale model of the XB-70 Valkyrie, one of the most ambitious bombers ever built! Designed to fly at Mach 3 while soaring at 70,000 feet, the XB-70 featured a sleek delta-wing shape and innovative folding wingtips to improve stability at high speeds. Unfortunately, the cancellation of the program occurred after only two prototypes. Despite this, the XB-70 remains an icon of aviation history, influencing future high-speed aircraft designs.

This model has folding wingtips, which rotate downward 65 degrees, exactly the same amount as that of the full-scale bomber! There is a landing gear and no-landing gear version. There is also non-folding wing tips version.
