Vehicle Ski Bumper (Magnetic Rack)

This ski bumper attaches to the side of your car with strong magnets and is a temporary rack while you are getting yourself organized.  We have all leaned our skis against the car only have them fall over.  This ski bumper is the answer to your problems and holds ~ 4 pairs of skis.  It uses strong cup magnets so that it has lots of holding power.  I made it in two parts so that it could fit on a Mark 4 bed.  The blue “locks” are dove tailed so that once you screw them together it holds the whole bumper together.  The inserts you can jam into the magnet slots once you have inserted the magnets.  The design requires two 32mm cup magnets that you can probably get at your local hardware store or via amazon.  The bumper I printed in TPU and the locks and inserts in PETG, but PLA should also work.  

(My van was never pretty so I am not worried about scratches, but if you have a pretty vehicle you might want to rinse off the winter dirt before you stick it on.)
