As I was building my fake Rivendell bike, I needed to move the chainring a bit more towards the center of the bike frame to decrease potential crosschaining when using the largest cog on the rear cassette.
I crated this spacer that partically acts as chainring cover, it was designed for 32T / 96BCD chainring. It can be used with bigger chainrings, but it of course won't be as close and covering the teeth as with the 32T chainring.
The crankset I desinged it for specifically is Shimano Deore FC-M5100, but it should fit anything with the 96BCD hole spacing.
