Magnetic Whiteboard Pen Holder

Magnetic holder for 4 whiteboard pens. The magnets used are 4 round/cylindrical neodymium magnets (20x3 mm). I use the following magnets:

The magnets are inserted during printing. For this, a print pause must be added via the slicer software in the GCODE. The following YouTube video from Prusa 3D shows, among other things, how this is done using PrusaSlicer:

I also use PrusaSlicer. For the pen holder, add a pause at a layer height of 3.60 mm (at a print resolution of 0.20 mm). Important: The print pause is done before printing the set layer, so the last printed layer is at 3.40 mm (0.40 mm layer thickness on the back of the holder + 3.00 mm height of the magnets).

Updates

• 2024-01-06: Upload of versions for 2 and 3 pens. All versions still have space for 4 magnets. For the 2-pen version, 2 magnets are probably enough. It is up to the makers themselves how many magnets they want to use :)
