Here is a small ball-joint fidget toy that you can print in place - and crack open after print.
Modelled in OnShape.
In use, it sits in the palm pf your hand (between second and third finger) with your thumb twiddling the top of the ‘gear stick’ to move the free ball joint that is contained within a cube. It is super fun and helps me focus.
The ball joint prints supported by a ring of filament under the ball. This is then cracked open after the print cools to free the ball.
I have successfully printed in PLA on a Prusa Mini with the default settings. You might want to increase the number of perimeters.
There is no need for supports. If you add supports, they will likely fill in the free space between the two parts that need to be separated after print is complete. So no supports.
Enjoy!
