Introducing the "Dragon Mini" Toolhead for the Prusa Mini 3D Printer, designed to accommodate the Dragon hotend and Sherpa Micro direct drive extruder.

Requirements:

  • Prusa Mini 3D Printer
  • Prusa Mini+ CFD-Optimized Fan Duct v2 carriage 
  • Compatible Hotends (45.5 mm from nozzle to hotend mount):
    • Original Dragon hotend or clones
    • TZ V6 2.0 or TZ V6 3.0 hotends
    • Custom-built E3D V6 with a Dragon-style heatsink 
  • Extruder: Sherpa Micro with Nema14 motor
  • Material: Should be printed using temperature-resistant plastic such as ABS\ASA (tested) or PETG (not tested)
  • DragonMini.stl needs supports for cantilever overhang's

Bill of Materials (BOM):

  • 2x M3x14 screws for the fan and Pinda holder mount
  • 2x M3x12 screws for Sherpa Micro mount
  • M3x18 screw to replace the bottom M3x20 carriage screw
  • 8x Voron Spec Heat Set Inserts (M3x5mm(OD)x4mm) and 2 more for ADXL bed mount
  • PTFE Tube: 4 mm OD, 1.9 mm ID
  • Original Prusa Mini Toolhead screws to mount original parts

  • ADXL Mount Compatibility: Features a 15.5 mm mounting space, suitable for:
    • BIGTREETECH ADXL345
    • Mellow Fly-ADXL345-USB
  • ADXL Bed mount model: Print, insert heat sets, mout with screws, and secure with double-sided mounting tape to the PEI sheet, the ADXL cable should be taped on the bed as well (using regular tape). Manual
  • Klipper Firmware Compatible: Designed specifically for use with Klipper firmware, enabling advanced features and control.
