These straps are incredibly handy and versatile, perfect for use almost anywhere! The 220mm strap uses only about 3 grams of filament, making each strap very affordable to produce. I have found the best success using low-durometer filament, such as NinjaFlex 85A. other tpu filaments also work so no need to buy the expensive tpu.
Print the strap in TPU using slow print settings. The TPU strap does not require support material. The buckle also prints well without support, although some printers may require supports for optimal results.
The S-curved and C-curved straps are especially convenient for smaller bed-sized printers.
The buckle features a longer "hook," allowing the strap to be wrapped one, two, or more times around an object for added security. the buckle als greatly increases the usability of the stap as its convenient to hold and hook in the strap when tensioned.
Have fun printing!
see how many you can fin on a single bed! i am able to crank out 47 220mm straps with just a single bed. i bet yoy can do more!
P.S. I also have a heavy-duty version available on my profile, which is better suited for larger objects such as skis, hiking gear, or heavy ropes.
