Here you find Zuzu's Petals - the name of a 3 panel artwork that arranges small hearts in a way that evokes a blustery day with cherry blossoms blowing in the wind. Note, each model in this listing is a different arrangement of the hearts - and together they give you the desired effect of a windblown petal storm of hearts.
The files uploaded have top and bottom as well as internal infill set up, as well as the single material color change that fills in the hearts at the end of the print. The result is a frosted glass looking panel that is perfect for use in a porch light.
I used Clear filament, any type will be fine, but I used PETG. Watch for over-adhesion so you don't pull the PEI sticker off of your steel sheet. A spritz of windex lightly wiped to cover the print area, then evaporated as the plate heats up is perfect for separation.
My porch lights use trapezoidal panels. I cut a 2mm high cubic shape into the trapezoid shape, then use another cube, angled at 3 degrees, to cut the bezels on all four sides (via 3D-builder or some much harder to use tool). If your porch lights aren't that shape, the hearts can be lifted from the model and set into your own porch panels.
A bottom layer of concentric infill, then octogram spiral infill (20%), and a hilbert curve top layer infill pattern gives you a nice sparkly panel without using too much filament.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
