Vex Robotics V5 Competition Custom License Plate

This model has two versions a magnetic license plate and holder or a velcro license plate and holder for the Vex Robotics V5 competition robots. Custom numbering is needed to display your team numbers during competition.

Materials Needed Include:

• Glue if using magnets
• 8 Strong Magnets 1.25cm in diameter and 0.75cm in height or 4 (1in by 1in velcro square) 
• White Vinyl (if using Cricut Machine for number) or the numbers that come on sheets with standard vex license plates or a white text that comes on sheets at stores.
• Red Fillament
• Blue Fillament
• White Fillament or any color besides red & blue for the holder portion.

Images of how to size your numbers correctly if using a cricut machine is shown below with the dimensions each text should be for each layout.

Note: To attach the holder to the bot zip tie around the center of the holder to a c channel or any bar on the bot if using magnetic license plate holder, if using velcro holder attach using screw holes in center of holder.

Additional Note: ORIENTATION DOES MATTER, magnets do have a small offset for one side so they are not equally distanced. Ensure you put the lables on correctly to line up with the magnets correctly or it will not stick.

Final Note: If using the velcro version of the license plate holder place the velcro in the indented spaces on the holder then just put the other two pieces of velcro on each of the seperate plates in the corners where it will attach to the other velcro on the holder to stick.
