Bolt Action Voron - AMS Lite Rotary Spool Holder

I wanted an easier way to install spools and use the AMS Lite Rotary spool holder on my Voron. You can install it from the side and carefully position to the rear.

Supports are required for the AMS Lite Mount. I used auto tree supports without any issues. Recommended to print in ABS/ASA for extra strength over PLA, with default Voron settings.

BOM 

• Yellow AMS lite Rotary Spool Holder
• 3x m3x16 SHCS
• 3x m3 heatset insert
• 2x M5x12 BHCS
• 2x M5 T-Nut
• 2x 3x6mm magnets

Note: If you want to install this on the Left side of the printer, you'd need to purchase the Green AMS Lite Rotary Spool and mirror the ams-lite-mount.

Instructions:
 

• Install a m3 heatset insert into the AMS Lite Spindle, and 2x m3 heatset inserts into the AMS Lite Hub on the back side (where the m3x16 enters to mount the AMS Lite Spindle)
• Insert the m3x16 into the center of the AMS Lite Hub and thread into the AMS Lite Spindle and tighten
• Insert the m3x16s into the center of the AMS Lite Hub Pins and thread into the AMS Lite hub and tighten
• Install the AMS Lite Rotary Spool Holder onto the AMS Lite Spindle
• Install the T-Nuts into the frame
• Install the 2 magnets into the AMS Lite Mount, they slide into place, the hole may require a touch of cleanup for them to insert nicely
• Mount the AMS Lite Mount onto the frame with the arrow pointing up and use 2x M5x12 BHCS to tighten the mount to the frame

You're ready to go. Do not force the spool around the back, you'll feel resistance if there's some misalignment.
