I wanted to move the Original Prusa Spoolholder from the top of my MK3S+ to the IKEA Skadis behind my printer, so I could share it with my Mini+. It's a simple print in 5 parts: two hooks, a plate to hold the spool holder and two pegs, that prevent the plate to move due to the weight and movement of the filament spool(s).
Upon request I made hooks with different angles. So you can print whatever fits your workspace best. For example: I use the 30° angle hooks because there is a cabinet above my printer, leaving little space. The number in the filename equals the angle the plate will make with the Skadis pegboard. So, Hook 15.3mf is for a 15° angle, Hook 20.3mf for a 20° angle and so on. The number of hexagon holes in the hooks is another indicator for the angle:
15° - 20° - 25° - 30°
I added folders with all parts included in one file per angle and a folder with each part separate.
Installation is simple, see the pictures:
Place the two hooks adjacent on the IKEA Skadis board
Slide the Prusa Spoolholder over the plate
Attach the plate to the hooks
Secure the plate with the pegs
PETG is advised for strength. I used 20% infill.
I remixed the pin from Michal Fanta's Gravity Spool Holder to fit the Prusa Spool Holder and to stop spools from rocking during printing. See: Prusa Spool Holder Pin.
