This a Stamp Die set with letters, numbers and a few special characters. I have also created a Jig to properly align the dies and reduce any possible errors when marking your clay pieces.
My idea for this is that you can set a date or serial number on the jig and then stamp pieces the entire day with every stamp looking exactly the same. Here are some examples of what the Jig could make
The Jig & Dies have very tight tolerances which will guarantee straight, even, reproducible marks.
All the letter and number dies are the exact same wdth EXCEPT FOR the letter W, it's a bit wider than the rest.
Below is how all parts are oriented. The image does not include the Master block or Letter Dies so its easier to see everything.
The Screw when threaded pushes the Pusher Block which will evenly distribute force on all the dies against the Slide Door making them straight. If you are only using a few dies you can add in the Spacer Block to center the dies in the Jig. You want to have the little forklift legs of the Pusher Block and Spacer Block to face each other.
Here are real photos. Master Block with only screw and Pusher block installed.
Added Number Dies & Slide Door with Lock Pin.
*TIP* If it is difficult sliding in the Number Dies use the Spacer block to push them into the Master block. The spacer block will auto align and evenly push the dies preventing them from getting stuck.
*TIP* Also use the Screw or Bigger Screw to push the dies out of the master block if they get stuck.
Test Stamp. Success
I printed using PLA, Flat steel bed, and NO SUPPORTS. Supports will just cause havoc when trying to assemble and parts were designed to not need them.
If you find this useful and want more die options or a larger jig let me know and I can update the design.
