Modified the cover to include a 2x4 Gridfinity base, a large area to hold loose pieces while working and a carry handle. Had to widen it overall just a smidge to fit everything… added some slight angles under the extensions, fit the overall look well. The handle has 4 M3x35mm screws that go through the cover upper and lower pieces, with 4 M3 nuts in the lower piece center rail. The blue bits in the handle are TPU inserts to cover the screw heads, TPU so they can easily be removed if needed.
The upper cover needs to be printed right side up now, so there's a fair bit of bridging involved, slicer images shows bridges in light blue. This printed clean on my X1C, but make sure you can print reliably a few inches of bridge… if not, painting some supports in specific areas may be needed.
The upper and lower covers need supports around the holes i added through the center rails, i painted these on in the slicer. they break free and slide out easily. I included images for those that don't have Bambu Studio.
The handle has tree supports enabled, there should only be a need at the very top of the large hole. i would do this to ensure the plugs fit well.
