A simple K2 lid riser with closable vents. I couldn't find a riser for the K2 that I like so I set about designing a simple low profile riser. The main reason for this was to stop the PTFE tube at the hotend rubbing on the glass top when it was printing. The riser is a nice tight fit in to the frame of K2 and the glass is also a snug fit
You will need to print the following:
4x Corners
2x Front-Rear Vent
2x Side Vent
2x Front-Rear Slide Vents
2x Side Slide Vents
Assembly:
Connect the Front-Rear Vent and Side Vents to the Corner pieces, then slide the Front-Rear Slide vents inside the Front/Rear vents. Then slide the Side Slide Vents in to the Side Vents.
Print recommendations:
I recommend printing in ASA or PETG
I would suggest a minimum of 10% Gyroid infill
3 Perimeter walls
There are 2 versions I have uploaded:
K2 Riser: has tight tolerances and may require a little sanding to get it to fit together
K2 Riser Loose: has bigger tolerances and may be a little slacker and a bit more forgiving for printer tolerances
