I made this RGB LED lamp that looks vaguely like flames (pictures don't do it justice) that can be controlled by Home Assistant or MQTT. There are currently 3 modes and off – Red, Green, and Blue. The flames transition seamlessly between colors when switched. The unit uses 2x 64x8 flexible LED panels and an ESP32 controller. It needs separate power as the LEDs need more current than the ESP32 can give out. I may post the code if anyone wants it.
I performed a color change right beneath the wiring entrance rectangle. The base and diffuser are one print. The top is a separate print. Eventually I may add some bracket or other internal mechanism to keep all of the electronics internal and only have an external barrel power plug or USB-C plug.
I'll upload a video when I can make it not be a “Shorts” video. They're stupid and I hate them.
