Bobble Fidget

INTRODUCTION

This is the favorite of the fidgets I have made. I have found myself messing with the joystick fidget more than any other of my designs. This design can have custom tops put on it and be turned into a magnet for additionally functionality.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly is really simple! The base and top have slits to easily align. All that needs to be done is for the two of them to be glued together. Additionally, you can add a small button top for additional flare!

I have also included a print in place assembly. My initial test with print in place had uncertain results - I notoriously suck with making good supports, so I just prefer the glue method; the failed results could very well be a me problem.

BUTTON TOPS

Buttons can simply be pressed onto the cylinder of the joystick fidget!

Turn any model into a button top: 

I have only 1 button top model at this time, but you can turn any 3D model into a button top. Bellow is how you can do this directly in the PrusaSlicer:

1. Import your model into the PrusaSlicer
2. Right click on the imported model and go to add negative volume > Cylinder (as shown below)
3. On the right in Part Manipulation, scale the cylinder's x and y axis to 7.6mm exactly and the height to around 4mm
4. Move the cylinder to the bottom of your model and adjust to the center (or wherever you would like).
5. Slice and double check a hole has been made.
