K1C Exhaust Fan adapter for LV-H128-RF

The original design doesn't fit the K1C - this remix gets close enough to sand. Credit to original author.

The original adapter is great, but it doesn't fit the K1C - the walls are too thick to fit in the slots.  I discovered someone else had commented that after I had printed the whole thing plus the filter adapter.  Ouch.  I felt stupid.

I remixed this with TinkerCAD (I don't know what I'm doing) to address the inner thickness issue which solved most of the problem, but I still had to take a little sandpaper to the outer side of the walls to make it fit.  This is my first TinkerCAD remix so i did my best.  Someone else can take it the rest of the way or you can sand it a hair and it'll fit.  Watch the orientation there's a definite top/bottom versus sides.  I printed it in PLA-CF, but if you'd printed in something a little less hard you could probably shove it in there without sanding.

I know it's not perfect, but it got me where I needed to be so either I hope it helps someone else or they fix it all the way where I couldn't.

As with the original, heatset some M3 inserts (I used the bog standard ones everyone gets off Amazon) and mount to the K1 Exhaust Fan Adapter with M3x8 and some washers.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Original's walls are too thick to fit in the K1C, I thinned them out.
