I recently picked up and installed a Meross HomeKit Smart Light Switch to make it easier to deal with a light switch that was not in a convenient location but we turn off and on a lot. Unfortunately we have a rather old house and the electrical boxes for the light switches are shallower than more recent boxes and the switch sticks out from the wall by about 6mm which didn't look very good. So I designed this spacer to fit behind the light switch cover to at least fill in the gap between the switch cover and the wall.

There are two files- one with a break in the spacer so you can install it after installing the switch and another without the gap so you can install it either as you're putting in the switch or (if your material is flexible enough) after with some twisting. The spacer was intended to be printed with TPU so it could squish a bit and fit snugly, so if you don't have to print it too thick you can probably put it on the switch after it is installed (you'll likely need to remove the cover first though). The spacer is 10mm thick in the file, but that's just a baseline thickness- you should measure the gap on your light switch and adjust the Z height (remember to turn off the ‘uniform scale’ setting or your slicer's equivalent so it doesn't also adjust the X & Y dimensions). I recommend printing it at least 1mm thicker than your measurement (if you're using TPU) so it will fit snugly- I actually ended up printing it 2mm thicker and it worked out very well.

Print settings don't really matter, you should use what is best for the filament you use- there's no reason to print it with much infill though, especially if you want to be able to compress it a bit if using TPU.
