I originally got this idea from Colin at This Does Not Compute. I wanted a mounting bracket like this for adding a LANMU Micro SD to SD Card Extension Cable Adapter Flexible Extender to my own recently purchased Mac Performa 475. I took Colin's bracket and added a few more features to it:

- Optimized the part for printing with the rear face down on a heated, textured build plate, so the final part doesn't look so 3D-printed

- Reoriented the latch, so it wouldn't be so easy to snap off (with the optimized print orientation)

- Extended both the "clip" portion of the mount and the latch portion to overlap the computer case's built-in leaf springs, helping tighten everything up

- Raised the SD card slot to account for thickness of 3M VHB tape

- Added "backstops" to the SD card reader tray, so when you push on the SD card, all the force isn't being taken by the VHB tape

- Added two little ledges to capture the front edge of the SD card reader to further aid in not directing all of the force into the VHB tape

- Added a little pictogram of an SD card. Because cute.

- Added small fillets on the front edges to make the mount look more polished when installed

Anyway, I hope this can help somebody else out. I spent, like, an entire day designing, test-printing, and refining it.
