SV08 Drybox

Drybox that fits on the Sovol SV08 spool holder.

I wanted a solution to print TPU on the SV08.

Printing from a regular drybox had to much friction for tpu, and using the original spool holder got my filament tangled and wet.

The drybox uses the parts of the original spool holder. The lid is screwed on. 

I printed it from PLA since it sits outside of the printer. I didn't use supports, but I had to post-process the threading with a knife and sandpaper. (mostly due to bad overhang settings).  So using support on the threading might be a good idea.

There is a recess in the drybox for a couple of bags of silica gel.

instructions:

• take apart the original spool holder spindle
• slide the 50 mm spool adapter over the spindle.
• mount the drybox bolt and screw in the m3 bolt.
• use the new spool adapter to mount the drybox on the metal holder and secure with the printed nut.
