OpenSCAD model is provided. Current model has 17cm height. This can be modified with “h” variable. Bar diameter is currently 25mm. It can be adjust with “d_bar”.
It prints on Prusa Mini. Use PLA or PETG. Increase the number of walls (both perimeters and bottom/top): I used 6. Infill 30%. Supports on the build plate.
V1.1 is for use with a wing nut. With the current dimensions, one M10x30 bolt and one M10 wing nut are required. Despite the large dimension of the wing nut, it may be hard to tighten enough by hand so that there is no slip at all. An additional 1/4th turn with pliers should help. If you edit the OpenSCAD model to change “d_bar”, “l_screw” and “ep2” may need adjustment too.
V2 is for use with any any type of bolt and a hex nut. Model adapts smoothly to various bar diameters and screw sizes. Current size is for M6x50.
