Windows and balcony door for Lidl Playtive Dollhouse XXL

This nice Lidl Playtive Dollhouse XXL comes with front door only. So I have created widows and balcony door which fits perfectly to prepared holes.

Hinges are created using small piece of raw 1,75 mm filament. In my case the hinges works pretty well. You need to use some force for opening and closing so it will not open/close accidentally.

Frames of windows and door are fixed to house by double sided tape.

How to print and assemble

• Frames were printed with automatic supports (from build plate only).
• For every hinge you need approximately 0,8 mm long piece of standard 1,75 filament.
• I was able to put this piece of filament into printed holes pretty easy. If you're not so lucky, you can certainly use a drill.
• To fix frames to dollhouse, I have used small pieces of double sided tape and placed it on the left and right side of the frame (see attached photos).
• If you don't want to use tape or glue, you can edit attached Fusion 360 files and create some small clips…
